At the beginning of the month, the whole of France celebrated the fifth anniversary of the death of Johnny Hallyday. For this occasion Laeticia Hallyday unveiled unpublished images of the rocker, in an exclusive documentary broadcast on M6 to “discover or rediscover her husband, the man he was, the father he was, the enthusiast, the fighter, the immense musician that he was” explained the famous widow.
Against all odds, Jade Hallyday and Joy Hallyday, their daughters now aged 17 and 14, agreed to testify in this program. “I can’t wait for them to discover it because it’s also their story. Vietnam, life in Los Angeles, holidays and Christmas with family, friends. In the first moments of the film, Johnny tells me ‘we never see these videos you make.’ I’m sure he would have liked this film because it looks like him” proudly launched their mother.
Joy Hallyday shares an unpublished photo
Very active on Instagram, Joy, who has grown up and who no longer hesitates to put her critics in their place, has just shared a new photo on the social network. If she lives between Los Angeles, Paris and Saint-Barthélemy with her big sister and her mother, the teenager is currently in Belgium… since all three have put down their suitcases there this Monday, December 19, 2022 to attend an exhibition dedicated to Johnny Hallyday who has just opened its doors for six months. For the occasion, Joy put on her 31 and opted for a “special outfit” for a “special night”.
“It’s a very intimate part of Johnny, of our family, and of him, of his moments of solitude which he also needed, of his artistic moments since it’s a place where there’s a lot of composition. There’s his guitars, which have not been used on stage. They are exhibited in the office as they were. His guitars have been used for compositions” explained Laeticia Hallyday to the Belgian press.
