Barely appointed Prime Minister, Michel Barnier has already provoked an avalanche of political reactions on social networks, Thursday, September 5. In the presidential camp, the Renaissance party rejects any automatic censorship, but does not sign a blank check. On the Republican Right side, Xavier Bertrand sends his best wishes for success to Michel Barnier.
For La France insoumise, Mathilde Panot insists: the President of the Republic refuses “the choice made at the ballot box”. Because for the entire New Popular Front, this nomination looks like a provocation. Even in the presidential camp, opinions diverge. On the left wing, Sacha Houlié evokes the“misunderstanding after the appointment of a Prime Minister from LR”. But the majority of Macronists remain more measured. For the National Rally, Jordan Bardella immediately set the line: “We will judge his general policy speech, his budgetary decisions and his actions on the evidence.”
