Tyler Bertuzzi added a goal and two assists for the Red Wings, who recovered after being crushed 6-1 by the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.

Carter Rowney and Vladislav Namestnikov also put the needle in the win. Alex Nedeljkovic made 32 saves for the Detroit team.

The 19-year-old Raymond, the fourth overall pick in the 2020 draft, recorded a career NHL first hat trick in his sixth game.

The Blackhawks saw their record slide to 0-5-1. They are yet to lead this season, for 360 minutes and 57 seconds, which is the longest streak in the NHL to start a campaign since at least the 1979-80 season, according to Sportradar.

The Blackhawks had to make do without Patrick Kane, Riley Stillman and Jujhar Khaira due to COVID-19 protocols. Assistant coach Marc Crawford was also absent for the same reasons.

Dominik Kubalik, Tyler Johnson and Henrik Borgstrom hit the target for the Chicago Troop. Captain Jonathan Toews had two goals for his own.

Marc-André Fleury has stopped 31 pucks and allowed at least four goals in his four starts this season.
