Pascale Bussières and Mylène Mackay will star in Crowsa detective series intended for Club illico.
Produced by Encore (The candidate, Red bracelets) in collaboration with Quebecor Content, this thriller will be directed by Stéphane Lapointe (Before the crash, A criminal case), reveals Videotron through a press release published Tuesday.
The series will tell the story of two so-called “tough” investigators, Gabrielle (Mylène Mackay) and Clémence (Pascale Bussières) who try to elucidate crimes that shock Quebec, murders bearing a common signature: a raven bone is buried in the throat of each victim.
Director of fiction at Quebecor Content, Olivier Aghaby speaks of an “exciting” and “surprising” series which “is inspired by a little-known part of Quebec history”.
Filming is scheduled to begin in April.
