Cam Thomas scored 23 points, Dennis Schroder scored 15 of his 21 points in the final quarter and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Toronto Raptors 106-102 on Wednesday.
Nic Claxton added 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks.
Noah Clowney scored 10 points and had a career-high seven blocks in what was the Nets’ final home game of the season.
The team finished the campaign with a 20-21 record at Barclays Center.
Immanuel Quickley scored 32 points for the Raptors and Gradey Dick had a career-high 24 points, including a 6-for-14 three-pointer.
The Raptors led 76-67 with 3:45 left in the third quarter, following a three-pointer from Jordan Nwora.
The Nets pulled the score back to within a point, but found themselves trailing 88-83 after a Nwora basket with 8:45 left.
Schroeder then scored seven points in a 12-6 run and the Nets led 95-94 with 4:46 remaining in the game.
With 49 seconds on the clock, a three-pointer from Quickley gave the visitors a 100-99 lead, before Schroder scored five straight points.
The former Raptors later sealed the Nets’ victory with two free throws with four seconds remaining.
