Rapper Kaaris is summoned to the Evry Criminal Court on November 23, 2023 as part of an investigation into accusations of violence against his ex-girlfriend, franceinfo learned from his lawyers, Wednesday November 9. The complainant will be tried the same day for “home invasion” and “damage to property”.
The rapper and his ex-girlfriend were taken into custody on Wednesday morning. It was the second time that Kaaris was heard by the police, after a first fifteen-hour police custody at the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois police station (Essonne) at the end of September. The rapper had been confronted for eight hours with the complainant.
Okou Gnakouri’s ex-girlfriend, real name, filed a complaint in July 2022 for facts dating back to January 2021. She claims that the rapper punched and kicked her. She also accuses her ex’s new companion of “non-assistance to anyone in danger”. Kaaris denies this violence and filed a complaint for slanderous denunciation.
