(Montreal) Secondary students will also be entitled to a rapid screening test for COVID-19, like elementary students.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health and Social Services, a student showing symptoms at school will be able to take a rapid test in their school, as will the staff.
Unlike the situation in primary schools, secondary school students will not be able to take the test home and it will have to be carried out at school, according to the information transmitted by the press release.
The ministry recalls that this measure aims to reduce the risk of outbreaks and that it is the parents’ responsibility to isolate their child if the latter presents symptoms similar to those of COVID-19.
