Quebec baseball player Raphael Gladu signed a new contract with the Trois-Rivières Eagles for the next campaign on Monday.

The former player of the New York Mets organization had worn the colors of the Trois-Rivières team in 2019, maintaining a batting average of .302, while totaling 21 doubles and 64 RBIs. This year, he played with Équipe Quebec, a formation of the Frontier League bringing together athletes from the Capitals of Quebec and the Eagles. He hit for .375, scoring 38 points.
“Raphael’s case was one of the priorities for us this fall. It is a privilege to bet on a local player with so much talent who will be able to rally all the other players behind him towards the achievement of our objectives.
