“It’s a mythical place that we know even if we’ve never been there, because it was in many films. It’s part of our collective unconscious,” said Jörg Zipprick, co-founder and editor-in-chief of La Liste.

In second place in this ranking, whose algorithm generates many ties, we find Peninsula Chicago (United States), Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal (Mexico) and Cheval Blanc St-Barth (France), with the score of 99.5.

In the French ranking, behind Cheval Blanc, come La Réserve and Le Meurice in Paris in second position, then Le Bristol in Paris and the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc (Antibes) in third.
