Goalie Jonathan Quick agreed to a one-year contract extension with the New York Rangers on Sunday.
The pact will bring him $1.275 million.
Aged 38, Quick pockets $825,000 this season.
He joined the Rangers last summer after serving as a reserve with the Vegas Golden Knights, the reigning Stanley Cup champions.
This season, Quick has been supporting Igor Shesterkin well, posting a 13-5-2 record and a 2.45 ERA.
A native of Milford, Connecticut, Quick was a Rangers fan growing up.
Quick also won the Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and 2014.
