The Collective of Angry Liberal Nurses is launching a new call for mobilization on Thursday May 16. Gatherings are planned for 8 p.m. in several cities in France including Grenoble, Montpellier, Paris, Belfort, Valence and Brest.

The time of these demonstrations was not chosen at random. “It’s symbolic” because in 2020, during confinement, “It was at that time that people applauded us. We were heroes, and since then, we have been invisible again, especially to our supervisory authorities”explains on France Bleu Isère, Alexandra Veyret, co-president of the Collective of Angry Liberal Nurses.

The mobilized nurses are demanding better coverage of travel costs, a revaluation of nursing medical procedures (AMI) frozen for 15 years, recognition of the “drudgery of the job” to be able to retire at full rate at age 60 or 62.

The Collective of Angry Liberal Nurses also announces rallies in Bordeaux, Bergerac, Bayonne, Dijon, Marseille, Nice, Poitiers, Quimper, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Avignon, Caen, and even Charleville-Mézières.
