Agents of Suge, the general security of the SNCF (Suge), used their firearm on the night of Thursday May 2 to Friday May 3, announced the Paris prosecutor’s office. Four officers were in uniform in an unmarked vehicle leaving a metro station in the 13th arrondissement of the capital when they were attacked by a man, equipped with a chopper, trying to open their door, specifies the floor.
Three of the four officers managed to get out of the vehicle. The man threw his chopper towards one of the members of the Suge and the other two shot the attacker in groups, according to a police source. Eight shots were fired, and four injured the individual, specifies the prosecution, noting that the man, unidentified, was taken to hospital.
An investigation into attempted homicide of a person responsible for a public service mission was entrusted to the 3rd judicial police district. An investigation is underway to verify the context of the use of their weapon by the agents.
