After the controversy with the gossip site Qc Scoop, influencer and singer Rafaëlle Roy speaks about her recovery and shares a cover of Thinking ‘Bout Love of Wild Rivers via his Instagram page.

At the beginning of November, Qc Scoop published an article and a photo of Rafaëlle Roy in hospital. The publication notably suggested that the singer was perhaps not sober and that she was accompanied by police officers. The young woman quickly corrected the facts on Instagram, raising a wave of sympathy from the public and personalities, including Véronique Cloutier and Alicia Moffet.
The influencer and former finalist on the show The voice, who left social networks in September, wrote a long message to accompany his shared singing tour Monday evening.
“With my intrinsic need to use my platform to speak about the things that really matter also came the call to manifest my truth here again through what makes my heart sing: music. These months of protecting my peace, putting intentional energy into my healing, and rediscovering myself without the pressure of social media have been extremely therapeutic. I met little Rafi from before who didn’t live through the validation of a hundred thousand strangers. It’s been too long since I forgot about it,” she confides.
Her journey led her to want to share music, one of her passions.
“And I believe that my talent comes with responsibility and power,” she adds. I feel that continuing to share it with you is, for now, aligned with the path I am walking now. It’s intuitive. And I listen to myself. Not for anyone but me. However, if this video puts a little light in the hearts of a few people, it will rock mine. As this world needs it… Thank you for welcoming me. Thank you for honoring me in my journey. I love you infinitely.”
