Radio-Canada pays tribute to Clémence DesRochers

A monument of Quebec culture, Clémence DesRochers will be the subject of a tribute series orchestrated by Radio-Canada, which will begin on November 20.

A great interview conducted by Mario Girard, columnist at Press, will launch the series on November 20 at 3 p.m. on ICI Première. For two hours, the host will exchange on the tone of confidence with the actress, singer and comedian, who will confide in particular on his childhood and his homosexuality.

Then, on November 21, 4 p.m., the tribute will continue on ICI Musique with a program full of poetry and songs. Under the direction of Monique Giroux, the singer-songwriters Catherine Major, Ingrid St-Pierre, Kathleen Fortin and the actress Pascale Montpetit will draw on the repertoire of Clémence DesRochers.

Finally, the Ohdio platform will present from November 20 a podcast series that will become embedded in the humorous universe of the main interested party. Journalist Mario Girard will present extracts from his committed monologues, which marked a whole generation of Quebec women.
