Four years after the release of commuters, Kery James has chosen to repeat the experience with the sequel to the feature film which was a hit around the world on Netflix. It was this Wednesday, September 27 that the public was able to discover the new film directed by the emblematic member of the Mafia K’1-Fry.
The synopsis of Commuters 2 is the next : “Two years after coming close to death, Demba Traoré tries to change his life while resisting the desire for revenge. As for his two brothers, Noumouké is involved in brawls between rival neighborhoods and Soulaymaan, torn between his convictions and his ambitions, takes his first steps as a lawyer. All three must try to resist the wave of violence and the brutality of the events that hit them.”

A few weeks before the film’s release, Kery James teased the arrival of Commuters 2 with a song featuring Kalash. The clip provided some clues about the plot of the French feature film. In the casting, viewers will be able to find Alessandra Sublet or even the actor and rapper Kofs. Moreover, he also appears on the title Trop Bizarre with Alonzo and Sadek.
To celebrate the release of Commuters 2, Kery James has unveiled the clip for a new song from the soundtrack. This is the song Mille reasons in collaboration with Slimane. In it, they share a thousand reasons to be optical and to see the good in sometimes chaotic situations. Vitaa’s sidekick performs the chorus. Together, they form a complementary duo. In the clip, we can see Noumouké sharing moments of joy with his best friend when they were children. Moreover, the title targets underprivileged children so that they do not forget to look for the beauty in a world that is not always rosy.
