The former Keeper of the Seals had spoken of the defect that she does not support in the president of the regional council of Île-de-France. “She always looks down on people. In a meeting, I said to her: ‘Valérie, stop talking to us like servants!’ And she replies: ‘Ah yes, it’s true, you’re right!'”she said.

Interviewed by the British daily The Times on his plans for the next two years, the former Les Républicains candidate for mayor of Paris had said he wanted “winning the presidential election”. “At the time, we had the impression that everyone could be (candidate). So, at some point, why would I be less legitimate than Pécresse? I wanted to see the reaction of the journalist”, she had explained on this outing to the authors of the book before deploring a different treatment between her colleague and her in her political family. “Everyone exclaims: ‘Ah! yes, it’s obvious” that Valérie Pécresse participates in the race for the Élysée. “While me, it’s: ‘Ah, the gypsy, there?'”.
