“Quite violent dark periods”, this mood disorder from which Didier Bourdon suffers

Never two without three. After the excellent Building permit released in 2022, and Clan in January 2023, Eric Fraticelli returns with a third film alongside Didier Bourdon

: Invaluable

, a new comedy inspired by a true story. Indeed, the feature film is inspired by the story of Félix Biancamaria, a man who discovered a treasure estimated at more than ten million euros in 1986 in the Gulf of Lava, north of Ajaccio, like the ‘reminded our colleagues ofAllocinated

.

The comedy is also inspired by Biancamaria’s book, titled The Treasure of Lava, Roman gold fever among Corsican divers, published in 2004 by Albin Michel. This film promises many laughs in the cinemas, with a trio that works wonderfully. Indeed, Eric Fraticelli and Didier Bourdon are accompanied by Philippe Corti and will play a group of friends who stumble upon said treasure.

Didier Bourdon, victim of a disorder for many years

This role perfectly matches the temperament of Didier Bourdon, although… Indeed, the former sidekick of Pascal Légitimus and Bernard Campan is aware that he is given the label of clown, capable of making anyone laugh in any situation. However, in the past, he went through very dark periods, as he recalled in the columns of Télé 7 jours a few years ago. “I’m a bit like that. Less so, over time. When I was younger, I was more cyclothymic,” he confided before continuing: “Overall happy, but with dark periods that were quite violent. Play and laughter were my therapy.”

But what is cyclothymia? Our colleagues from Purepeople explain that it is a mood disorder that falls on the bipolar spectrum. This disorder is most often characterized by periods of euphoria and others of depression. Situations that the ex-member of the Unknowns had to face.
