Andrée Laforest reacted, Monday evening, to the numerous reports broadcast in our pages and on the show I on the costly missions abroad and restaurant expenses of the leaders of this small organization financed 100% by the City of Montreal.

“I was disturbed by the facts reported during the show I concerning the Montreal Public Consultation Office. This is a worrying situation, Mr.me Beaulieu and Mr. Grenier must explain themselves,” commented the minister, regarding the president and secretary general of the institution.

As announced yesterday by Mayor Valérie Plante, the Auditor General of Montreal has received the mandate to examine the practices of the OCPM.

“I am committed to quickly analyzing the recommendations of the Auditor General’s report and will not hesitate to make the necessary legislative changes,” assured Minister Laforest.
