He was eagerly awaited at home, he did not disappoint. Fourth in the sprint on Friday, and winner of the last pursuit in Hochfilzen (Austria), Quentin Fillon-Maillet shone in front of his home crowd by winning the pursuit event on Saturday, December 18, in Le Grand-Bornand. Untouchable with the rifle, he thus signs an eighth career victory. Eduard Latypov finished second, just ahead Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen. Emilien Jacquelin finished the race in 9th place.
