Doctors to Queen Elizabeth II, 96, are “concerned” by his state of health and “recommended that she be placed under medical supervision” at his Balmoral Castle in Scotland, Buckingham Palace said on Thursday (September 8).
“Following a further assessment this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision. The Queen continues to feel comfortable and at Balmoral,” the palace announced in a brief statement. Princes Charles and William visit his residence at Balmoral.
“The whole country will be concerned about the news from Buckingham this afternoon”said UK Prime Minister Liz Truss. “My thoughts and those of people across the UK are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family.”
