Truly, to hear our Premier of Quebec say we don’t need the Emergencies Act and add that it will only divide Quebecers…. amazes me. What planet does Mr. Legault live on?
Social media has long been about dividing people. Unfortunately, we are reaping the results of an education system incapable of developing a critical sense in young people. Far be it from me to blame everything on Education. Parents and society in general have their share of responsibility. The fact remains that people no longer need to know the facts. They believe their social media friends who tell them the good news and they run to protest for a supposedly just cause.
In short, all this to remind Mr. Legault that it is too late and that Quebecers and Canadians are divided and firmly entrenched in their respective positions and it is not the Emergency Measures Act announced by Mr. Trudeau that will change things.
