A woman was taken to hospital with “serious injuries” after suffering an armed attack in the Saint-Sacrement district of Quebec.
The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) indicates that it intervened after receiving an emergency call around 8:05 p.m. to report the attack that occurred on rue de Repentigny.
A suspect was arrested on site while the victim was transported to hospital with “serious injuries”, specifies the police force.
Major crimes investigators will be on scene, as will forensic identification technicians.
