“Welcome to the Info-Santé service. Can I make your appointment? Québec solidaire (QS) is committed to making 811 the new first line for health care, in particular by allowing appointments to be made.
Under a united government, Quebecers would be able to call this “811 2.0” to be directed to the appropriate establishment. QS intends to recruit more nurses to make this happen.
“The quality of health care in Quebec is good. The problem is access to care. It’s too complicated to get into the health system, ”said the solidarity co-spokesperson, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, in a Montreal park. He was flanked by seven candidates who will form the party’s health cohort during the campaign.
Mr. Nadeau-Dubois and his “health team” also took the opportunity to reiterate their long-standing commitment to open CLSCs 24 hours a day and to “upgrade” their use by patients.
