Quebec series in competition at the Canneseries

Quebec does well in 6e Cannes International Series Festival, which will take place from April 14 to 19.

Lac-Mégantic – this is not an accident by Philippe Falardeau is nominated for the prize for best documentary series, while the dramatic comedy Good Morning Chuck (or the Art of Harm Reduction) finds itself in official competition and that seem to go stands out in the short series category.

The trailer of Lac-Mégantic – this is not an accident, that the public will be able to see in May on the Vrai platform, was also revealed on Tuesday.

For a few days, we can also see the first images of Good morning Chuck (or the art of harm reduction), co-production of Mathieu Cyr and Jean-Francois Rivard (That’s how I love you, Black Series), expected on Crave on May 24. Shot in black and white, the dramatic comedy recounts the therapy of a popular morning TV show host (played by Nicolas Pinson) caught up in a scandal related to his drug use.

As for the series seem to go, its broadcast began last Thursday on Télé-Québec. This is another dramedy that follows four young adults with cystic fibrosis. Our colleague Hugo Dumas praised it in a recent column.
