Quebec reports on Monday a new death attributed to COVID-19, for a balance sheet of 15,489 since the start of the pandemic.
The Ministry of Health also reports 480 new cases, for a total of 1,074,020. The number of cases listed is not representative of the situation, however, since access to screening centers is restricted to certain priority groups.
In all, 219,331 rapid tests have been self-reported so far on the government platform, including 180,128 positive. For the day on Sunday, 278 tests were declared, including 247 positive.
Remember that data related to hospitalizations and intensive care are no longer counted on weekends.
The Ministry of Health indicates that 7298 analyzes were carried out on Sunday and that the positivity rate is 7.7%.
Regarding vaccination, 2078 doses were administered in the last 24 hours in Quebec.
Among Quebecers aged 5 and over, 91% received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 55% received a third dose and 14% obtained a fourth dose. Among those aged 60 and over, 43% went for a fourth dose.
