Quebec reports no new deaths and reports 927 new cases

Quebec does not report any new deaths attributed to COVID-19 on Monday, so the death toll remains at 15,959 since the start of the pandemic.

927 new cases were also reported, for a total of 1,148,800. The number of cases listed is not representative of the situation, however, since access to screening centers is restricted to priority clienteles.

A total of 268,675 rapid tests have been self-reported so far on the government platform, including 224,523 positives. For the day on Sunday, 286 tests were declared, including 231 positive.

A total of 5,014 health care workers are absent for reasons related to COVID-19, such as preventive withdrawal or isolation.

Data on hospitalizations and intensive care are no longer counted on weekends.

The Ministry of Health indicates that 8865 analyzes were carried out on Sunday and that the positivity rate is 11.4%.

Among those aged 5 and over, 91% received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 56% received a third dose and 18% obtained a fourth dose. Among those aged 60 and over, 51% went for a fourth dose.
