Quebec reports 716 new cases of COVID-19 and 2 more deaths

Quebec reported on Friday 716 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths.

The province’s death toll now stands at 432,991 people infected and 11,535 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

205 hospitalizations were reported on Friday, a decrease of 10 compared to Thursday. Of these patients, 40 are in intensive care, a decrease of two.

Eleven people entered the hospital on Thursday and 21 were released. Four people entered intensive care, while six left.

A total of 30,139 samples were taken on November 10.

Regarding vaccination, 14,294 doses were administered, or 13,443 in the last 24 hours and 851 before November 11, for a total of 13,379,659 doses administered in Quebec. Outside Quebec, a total of 224,107 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,603,766 doses received by Quebecers.

According to the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec, 79.5% of the population has received at least one dose of vaccine against COVID-19. Among those 12 years and older, 90.8% have received at least one dose and 88.3% are adequately vaccinated.
