Quebec reports 663 new cases of COVID-19

Quebec reports 663 new cases of COVID-19 and four additional deaths on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 441 were people who had not been vaccinated or received a single dose less than 14 days ago, 20 had only received a single dose at least two weeks ago, and 202 had received a second dose at least seven days ago.

Since the start of the pandemic, 432,275 infections have been reported, and 11,533 of these have been fatal.

There are 215 hospitalizations Thursday, a drop of five compared to Wednesday. Of these patients, 42 are in intensive care, a decrease from three.

Thirteen people entered the hospital on Wednesday. Seven of them were not vaccinated or had only received a single dose less than 14 days ago and six had received a second dose at least seven days ago.

Two people were admitted to intensive care: one was unvaccinated or had only received a single dose less than 14 days ago and the other had received a second dose at least seven days ago.

A total of 32,192 samples were taken on November 9.

As for vaccination, 13,545 doses were administered in the last 24 hours in Quebec.

According to the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec, 79.5% of the population has received at least one dose of vaccine against COVID-19. Among those 12 years and older, 90.8% have received at least one dose and 88.3% are adequately vaccinated.
