Quebec reported 1,189 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, as well as two additional deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, 455,825 infections have been reported, and 11,589 of them have been shown to be fatal.
The health authorities have 226 people hospitalized because of the disease in Quebec, an increase of seven compared to the day before. Of these, 62 are in intensive care, three fewer.
