Quebec provides update on back to school and curfew

Premier François Legault is accompanied this afternoon by the Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, the Minister of Education, Jean-François Roberge and the interim Director of Public Health, Luc Boileau, to present an update on sanitary measures.

Clarifications should be made regarding various measures such as the curfew and the vaccine passport, as well as the return to class scheduled for Monday.

From the outset, Mr. Legault argued that he had good news to present today, in a context of great fatigue among the population. “We finally see the light at the end of the tunnel,” he said. Experts confirm a stabilization in the number of cases, while the peak would have been reached a few days ago, he said, seeing it as the result of the health measures imposed in recent weeks.

More details will follow.
