Quebec provides an update on COVID at 1 p.m.

The Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, flanked by the new interim national director of public health, Luc Boileau, and the assistant deputy minister for the general directorate of academic, medical, nursing and pharmaceutical affairs, Lucie Opatrny, made the update on the COVID situation at 1 p.m. while Omicron is still raging.

On Monday, Quebec listed 3,381 patients infected with the coronavirus in its hospitals, including 286 patients in intensive care. And nothing suggests that the peak of hospitalizations linked to COVID has been reached in the province, analyze experts who predict that the pressure will still be strong in the coming weeks in hospitals.

In addition, today the vaccine passport is now required in all SAQ and SQDC branches.
