Prime Minister François Legault unveiled this information Thursday evening, during an interview with Yanick Bouchard and Frédéric Plante, of the show The 5 to 7, at RDS.

” I spoke with [M. Bettman], and we have meetings with him in the coming months, ”he said. His cabinet told Press that the first name “we” designated the government, and not Mr. Legault himself.

“You have to look at who is ready to invest. We have an amphitheater in Quebec that has already been built. We are in the process of making contacts with Mr. Bettman. We are looking at what we need to bring back the Nordiques. I think we are capable of having a second team in Quebec. ”

This exchange with the RDS hosts followed a discussion on the number of Quebec players within the Montreal Canadiens. “There must be more efforts made by the Canadian,” said the Prime Minister. […] I’m still working on trying to bring the Nordiques back from Quebec. It would put pressure on the Canadian. ”
