Quebec reports Thursday 19 new deaths linked to COVID-19 as well as a decrease in hospitalizations.
There are currently 1034 hospitalizations, a decrease of 39 compared to Wednesday. Fifty people are in intensive care, a decrease of six.
The Ministry of Health reports 1,462 new cases. However, this number is not representative of the situation since access to screening centers is restricted to priority groups.
Since the start of the pandemic, 941,112 infections have been reported, and 14,232 of them have proven fatal.
A total of 110,789 rapid tests have been self-reported so far on the platform put online by the government, including 86,749 positive. For Wednesday, 493 cases were declared, including 396 positive.
The Ministry of Health says 14,296 tests were carried out on Wednesday and the positivity rate is 11.6%.
Regarding vaccination, 5819 doses were administered in the last 24 hours in Quebec.
Among those aged 5 and over, 91% received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 87% received at least two doses and 52% received a third dose.
