Quebec has around ten cases of measles

Health authorities report around ten cases of measles in Quebec, including seven in the Montreal region. Fourteen exposure environments are displayed on the Santé Montréal website.

The national director of public health, Dr Luc Boileau, took stock of the circulation of measles in Quebec on Monday, accompanied by the DD Caroline Quach-Thanh, pediatrician, microbiologist-infectious disease specialist at CHU Sainte-Justine and full professor at the University of Montreal, and the regional public health director of Montreal, Dr.D Mylène Drouin.

On Friday, Montreal’s regional public health director warned parents that two cases of measles had been detected in the region, including one in a school.
