Health authorities reported Friday 1,728 hospitalizations linked to COVID-19 in Quebec, a drop of 42 from the previous day. Among these, 37 patients are in intensive care, two less.
Quebec also reports 23 additional deaths from the disease, but none in the past 24 hours, and officially lists 761 new cases of COVID-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,179,550 infections have been reported, and 16,409 of them have been fatal.
