(Montreal) The 26,000 civil servants employed by the Quebec government will once again go on strike, this time for a week starting June 13.

These are the members of the Syndicat de la fonction publique et parapublique du Québec, which represents technicians and office workers employed by various departments and agencies, such as the Société de l’assurance-automobile du Québec or the Régie Quebec health insurance.
The strike will therefore affect service to the public in these departments and agencies and in courthouses, for example.
The collective agreement expired on March 31, 2020, as was the case for the unions representing all state employees. However, the latter have since renewed their collective agreement, for the most part.
