Actress Geneviève Schmidt takes over the helm of the Gala Québec Cinéma.

The actress of District 31, The Blue House and The beautiful discomforts will host the awards ceremony live from Radio-Canada studio 42 on Sunday, June 5 at 8 p.m. She had held the reins of the prestigious meeting last year.
Geneviève Schmidt will be surrounded by a team that includes Luc Michaud (script-editor), Odrée Rousseau (text), Charles Dauphinais (stage director), Marc Paquette (director) and Benoit Léger (production).
The unveiling of the finalists will take place on April 14 at the Phi Center in Montreal.
Radio-Canada also disclosed the details regarding the programming that will frame the broadcast of the gala. Isabelle Racicot and Tatiana Polevoy will host the red carpet show, which will be broadcast as an aperitif at 7:30 p.m. on ICI Télé. After the ceremony, around 10 p.m. on ICI ARTV, they will pilot Quebec Cinema Gala: After-Gala, where they will meet the winners. On ICI Télé, this program will follow the Newscast.
