Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) President and CEO Manon Brouillette left her position just under a year after taking office.

In a brief statement, Verizon Communications suggested that Ms. Brouillette had resigned, she who had been chosen last January to lead VCG, the branch of Verizon responsible for wireless services offered to individuals.
The transition will be handled by Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg. “My priority with VCG will be to improve the consistency between the excellent quality product that we offer on the market and our operational results,” he mentioned in a press release, thanking Ms. Brouillette for her contribution.
Former president and chief executive officer of Videotron, Ms. Brouillette joined Verizon in July 2021, before being appointed head of VCG on January 1.
Since Ms. Brouillette’s appointment, Verizon Communication’s stock has collapsed on the stock market, losing more than 30% of its value, dropping from just over US$52 at the start of the year to US$37.07, at market close Monday.
The stock lost 2.91% of its value during the day, following the announcement of Ms. Brouillette’s departure.
