Quebec box office | Thor first, Vanishing lines seventh

Vanishing lines entered at 7e rank of the Quebec box office last weekend. The drama directed by Miryam Bouchard and Catherine Chabot raked in $48,101 from Friday to Sunday, Cineac data reveals.

The most recent installment of The Adventures of Thor tops the charts with $1,477,048, far ahead of another sequel, Minions 2: Once Upon a Timewhich hooks in 2e position with $576,391. Top Gun: Maverick completes the podium with $200,595.

With his $48,101, Vanishing lines realize the 3e Quebec start-up of 2022, behind norbourg ($172,516 after 3 days of operation in April) and Arsenault & Sons ($117,983 in June).

Vanishing lines ahead Baby sitter ($36,648), No chicane in my cabin ($18,116), Noémie says yes ($17,111) and Coda: Life with Music ($15,807) on the list of the most lucrative departures of 2022.

Cumulatively, revenue from Vanishing lines are close to $70,000, since they include the $21,479 raised during its first 24 hours in theaters, from Wednesday to Thursday.

Recounting the reunion of three high school friends who have taken different paths, this dramatic comedy stars Catherine Chabot, Léane Labrèche-Dor and Mariana Mazza.
