The successor exceeded one million dollars at the box office, becoming the first Quebec film to reach this milestone in 2024.
The feature film by Xavier Legrand, starring Marc-André Grondin and Yves Jacques, has been in cinemas since February 2.
The film thus secures a place among the ten most popular of the year so far.
The successor was chosen best film in the Quebec film competition at the Cinémania festival last year. He also received the audience prize at the Les Arcs Festival in France.
