Directed by Saw Wrench during the singer’s tour, the nearly three-hour film grossed $643,920 in Quebec – the sum rises to $96 million for all of North America.
The Exorcist: Believer is far behind with $191,000 in its second week on screen. Willby Denys Arcand, obtained $184,000 for a total of nearly $763,000 after two weeks.
PAW Patrol: The Power Patrol, the movie, whose animation is the work of Mikros Montréal, takes fourth place. Its revenue now stands at 1.2 million.
The legend of the butterflyanother animated film, this one entirely from Quebec, is sixth and raised $85,591 in its debut. Humanist vampire seeking consenting suicidewhich also just hit theaters, generated nearly $40,000, good for ninth place.
In eighth position comes Simple like Sylvainby Monia Chokri, with $59,521, bringing her total to $774,000.
