(Montreal) The first birth of 2024 in Quebec could have occurred just one minute after midnight, in Outaouais.
The CISSS de l’Outaouais announced Monday afternoon, on its Facebook page, that little Mylan Lagacé was born at 12:01 a.m., and that he weighs 3.18 kilograms.
Among the first babies of the year, the McGill University Health Center (MUHC) specified that a little girl weighing 3.68 kilograms was born at 3:19 a.m. Her name is Lina-Maria Ben Amor.
The MUHC reported that the little girl and her mother, Olena Saguil, were doing well.
Olena Saguil and the child’s father, Mohamed Hedi Ben Amor, live in Montreal.
