Québec solidaire will ask the Ethics Commissioner of the National Assembly to investigate the practices of CAQ deputies soliciting donations by highlighting the presence of ministers at political fundraising cocktails.
QS MP Vincent Marissal wants Commissioner Ariane Mignolet to look into the cases of Yves Montigny and Gilles Bélanger.
Two other CAQ deputies, Louis-Charles Thouin and Sylvain Lévesque, are already the subject of investigations by Mr.me Mignolet, after QS requests.
New information concerning Mr. Montigny and Mr. Bélanger has been released since Tuesday, the day of the start of the parliamentary term, where the question of political financing dominated the debates.
