QMJHL | William Dufour named player of the week

(Montreal) St. John Sea Dogs forward William Dufour is the QMJHL Player of the Week after scoring four goals and three assists in three games.

The 20-year-old veteran, originally from Quebec, has largely contributed to his team’s three victories.

Dufour notably scored his 50and goal of the season on Saturday in a 6-0 win over the Cape Breton Eagles.

Dufour, choice of 5and round of the New York Islanders in 2020, currently leads the league in goals (52) and points (109) with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
