The Cataractes pulled off a steal in Charlottetown on Sunday. A goal by Xavier Bourgault, scored at the start of the overtime period, allowed the Shawinigan residents to win 4-3 against the Islanders in this second game of the QMJHL final. They take a 2-0 lead in this final. Cataracts and Islanders needed extra time, tied 3-3 after 60 minutes.

The Islanders dominated the first 40 minutes of play, where they took a 2-1 lead. Captain Mavrik Bourque, with his second of the game, brought everyone back to square one in third, which set the stage for a frenzied end of third.
