Vigilance for the inhabitants of Puy-de-Dôme. The department was placed on orange alert, Saturday November 9, from 2 p.m. due to the violent winds forecast by Météo-France. As a very rainy front associated with the Elin depression passes, violent gusts are expected locally in the afternoon and evening, particularly around Clermont-Ferrand.writes the forecasting institute.

Gusts of up to 110 km/h are expected locally, warns Météo-France, which also expects “a blow “brief wind in many departments on yellow alert in the northern half of the country”. Sixty-eight departments are thus placed on yellow alert for risks of “violent winds”. Vigilance must end at 10 p.m. as winds are expected to weaken “first part of the night”.
