Yulia Navalnaïa, the widow of Alexeï Navalny, spoke before the European Parliament on Wednesday February 28. “Putin killed my husband,” she said during a vibrant indictment.
She is a broken woman but of incredible courage, who appeared before the European deputies on Wednesday February 28. Yulia Navalnaïa, the widow of Alexeï Navalny, was welcomed by a standing crowd. She was invited by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, to pay tribute to her husband, the Russian opponent killed by the Putin regime.
“Putin is the head of a criminal organization”
Very moved, Yulia Navalnaïa spoke and, in a vibrant indictment, named her assassin: “Putin killed my husband, Alexei Navalny. On his orders, Alexei was tortured for three years. He was in solitary confinement, in a tiny cell. Putin is the head of a criminal organization. You and all of us must fight this criminal network.“She is thus calling for investigations to be carried out into the system of mafia financial arrangements, rather than new resolutions and sanctions which, according to her, will not reach the head of the Kremlin.
