Xavier Gens treats the classic subject of a fatum with avenging reply, adding a dose of black violence that he tints with bloody red. If saber films can be of the same ilk, martial arts are not, neither is Thai boxing. Farang is by adding a few slender blades that cut throats and aim at the heart. Xavier Gens places himself in the tradition of the Grand Guignol, which has become the Gore in cinema.

In Thai language, Farang means European, what is Sam, interpreted by Nassim Lyes, Young Kick Boxing champion, seen in Minor 27 Or The guys (the film), but who still has to learn to refine his game. Olivier Gourmet slips into the skin of a pugnacious gang leader in two or three scenes: amusing.
