Purchased wine, partially reimbursed thanks to an operation launched in the agglomeration of Sète

Supporting winegrowers affected by the April frost wave while earning money is possible. Since Wednesday December 8, it is possible to buy wine from 30 winegrowers in the agglomeration of Sète and be reimbursed for 30% of their purchase. The winegrowers of the agglomeration lost on average 40% of their production because of the frost. The maximum amount transferred to the customer’s account is 60 euros per cellar. To do this, you have to download the Keetiz application and pay by credit card at the supported winegrowers. For example, at Domaine La Madeleine Saint-Jean in Marseillan, at Domaine Saint-André in Mèze or even at Domaine de la Plaine in Vic-la-Gardiole. The list can be viewed on the Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée website, which has invested 50,000 euros in this operation called Viti Foliz.

A beneficial operation for customers and winegrowers

The operation is beneficial for customers and winegrowers explains Jean-Guy Majourel, 1st Vice President of Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée: “We want to restore purchasing power to the population of the 14 municipalities of Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée and revitalize local commerce.” In this sense, the Thau Foliz operation is renewed. 90 businesses are also supported in the same way. Operation also financed to the tune of 50,000 euros.
