Punk icon Iggy Pop will release a 19th solo album

At 75, American singer Iggy Pop will launch the album Every Loser on January 6. It will include his recent song frenzyto which Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses and Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers have contributed.

This is the 19e solo album for Iggy Pop, nicknamed the Godfather of rock and known for his colorful stage play. Every loser is Iggy Pop’s first full-length album made in partnership with Atlantic Records and Gold Tooth Records, founded by Andrew Watt.





Iggy Pop was the frontman of The Stooges which emerged in the late 1960s and is credited with influencing the punk movement and 1990s grunge. The Stooges are known for their hits I wanna be your dog and Search and destroy, while Iggy Pop as a solo singer distinguished himself with Lust for life and The passenger, among others.
